Pros:
All the welds are spot on, desk is super sturdy (in corner orientation, didn’t try long way), no chips knocks or cracks in the wood pieces, all LED lights work, all 8 legs have adjustable feet for crooked floors, took 2 hours for me to put it together.
The assembly was pretty easy, takes an eye for detail if you want it perfect. Like the directions warn you, try to prolong fully tightening bolts so you can move and adjust pieces to make sure there are no seams or gaps. They give you the 3 tools you need. The fabric hanger on the side is super sturdy, almost to firm and stiff, it’ll wear in and loosen as you use it I’m sure.
Cons:
The clips they use for the LEDs to hang are weak, they don’t clamp around the lights so the LEDs can slide back and forth. Because of this the LEDs sag do to their own weight.
The 2 strips are connected to one plug, both strips are the same length, meaning the lights won’t reach the full length of the monitor stand.
My recommendation is to use your own methods of making the lights stay up, and running the lights ONLY under the two long boards, NOT the connecting slat too. Or alternatively buy your own LED strip with a better method of hanging.
The lights would be a 4/5 for me but the adhesive on the clips comes off easily so you can adjust or replace them and lights aside the desk is amazing for the price.
